      Bringing characters to life in a visual medium is what I love most about being a cinematographer. Being able to convey emotion through lighting and camera movement is a wonderful balance that captures my imagination.

      My name is Brian Roth and welcome to my virtual portfolio. Narrative and Documentary are my passion but I also have experience shooting commercials, music videos as well as industrial videos for companies like Google, Forbes, and Samsung.

      I am most inspired when I'm out of my element and drawn to stories that shock the human condition. I am driven on keeping things simple which allows more effectiveness on set which gives the spotlight for the actors performances to shine.
